Mr. Roger Chong joined Kum Shing as a Senior Safety Officer in 2002. He has been progressively promoted along the pathway to Safety Manager, Senior Safety Manager, and Assistant General Manager. He is currently the General Manager and Head of the Urban Facilities Department, where he oversees the operation, cost control, contract management, tendering, and partnership opportunities of various public lighting system projects.

He has served in the engineering and construction industry for years, accumulating over 20 years of experience in the field of occupational safety and health, and project management.

Roger holds an Honours Master of Business Administration and an Honours Master of Science degree in Environmental Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, as well as an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is also a registered safety officer and a registered safety auditor.
