Since 2008, Kum Shing has been proudly providing engineering services for the MTR. It was a great honor to receive the Safety Performance Award from our client for our outstanding work in the first project, the Power Supply Upgrade at Causeway Bay Station. Furthermore, the Replacement of URL 33kV Changeover System marked an important milestone in our expertise in railway engineering.
Through seamless inter-departmental cooperation between our Civil Building and Electrical Mechanical Departments, Kum Shing offers comprehensive engineering services for the entire MTR network, including power system, signalling system, upgrades, maintenance, and overall management. Moreover, we have actively participated in significant projects such as the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link (XRL), where we contributed our expertise in electrical and mechanical installations for the Hong Kong West Kowloon Station. Additionally, we provided facility management services for the Shek Kong Stabling Sidings, as well as ventilation systems and access points along the Hong Kong Section of the XRL. Moreover, we were also involved in commissioning of rolling stock and public open days.
