Kum Shing has been participating in various rainwater and sewage projects, with the aim to improve the water quality of Hong Kong. This include the sewage treatment project led by the Drainage Services Department and promote sustainable sewage treatment through the adoption of Waste-to-Energy solutions.
Recent Water Treatment Projects
- Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works: new Combined Heat Power and power generating unit
- Sha Tau Kok Sewage Treatment Works: construct a 1.8km submarine outfall by trenchless drilling method and the Temporary Sewage Treatment Plant
- Pak Hok Lam and Sha Tau Kok Village Sewerage Project: trunk sewers, sewers, and sewage pumping station with twin rising mains
Technology Utilization
We continuously adopt innovative technologies to increase efficiency and environmental efficacy, incorporating Building Information Modeling (BIM), Modular Integrated Construction (MiC), Modular Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA), Multi-trade Building Services Components (MiMEP), Radiofrequency Identification (RFID), and Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR).
