Dr. Steven Lau joined Kum Shing in 1986 as Site Supervisor. Later he was subsequently promoted to Assistant General Manager, General Manager, Department Head and Senior Director.

In 2021, he was appointed as an Executive Director. Prior to his current role, he was responsible for overseeing Distribution Circuits Department and Corporate Services Department, where he developed a strong background in engineering, administration and management. Currently, Steven oversees delivery of Term Service Contracts (“TSC”) of all Business Line Departments and Manpower Supply. He also strives to pursue new business opportunities at various areas, such as Urban Facilities, talent platform, and logistics.

Steven served in a number of large construction companies before joining Kum Shing. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from The Open University of Hong Kong, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Hong Kong Baptist University, and a Doctor’s Degree in Business Administration from The University of Newcastle, Australia. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Management, a Full Member of the Hong Kong Computer Society, and a Professional Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resources Management.
