Power Upgrading Works for Airport Terminal 1 APM System

Kum Shing Electrical & Mechanical Team provided modification works for the traction power supply system for the APM system at the Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1 to meet the growing transportation demand.

The team was responsible for the design, supply, and installation of essential equipment, ranging from high-voltage transformers to low-voltage power circuit breaker switchgear, harmonic filters, batteries, chargers, uninterruptible power supply systems, traction power supply cables, high-voltage backup generators, high-voltage power circuit breaker switchgear, and high-voltage equipment supervisory control and data collection system to enhance system monitoring and stability.
