Hong Kong is renowned for its globally pre-eminent public transportation system, with our advanced railway network playing a crucial role in enhancing the convenience of citizens’ lives. Kum Shing has been providing a range of upgrade and maintenance services for the railway system in the golden two hours of every mid-night. Over the past year, one of the frontline teams has been performing a series of rail upgrade works at Kowloon Bay and Kwun Tong Stations. Workers have to remove the structures on the rail and pave them with concrete bricks made with new technology. As an important part of railway asset management, this upgrade project can not only greatly extend the service life of the rails but is also pivotal in enhancing the safety of railway operation.
