Participating In Tuen Mun South Extension New Railway Project

Kum Shing has always been playing an active role in the transport infrastructure development in Hong Kong. The contract for Power Supply System and Trackside Auxiliaries for Tuen Mun South Extension (TME) Project commences this year. In this joint venture project, Kum Shing is responsible for installing the high-voltage power supply system for the TME. Building Information Modeling (BIM) will be widely used at design stage to ensure effective coordination with other railway systems. While the Smart Site Safety System (4S) will also be adopted to ensure the safety of the construction work.

As the project items will integrate with existing systems of Tuen Ma Line, our team needs to work diligently day and night to minimise impact to the existing train services. Upon the target completion of the project in 2030, the comprehensive railway network in Tuen Mun is expected to enhance the connectivity for residents across the community.
