Kum Shing is glad to be awarded a four-year term contract for the management, operation, installation, and maintenance of the public lighting system in New Territories West through a joint venture. Over the next four years, Kum Shing will work closely with the Highways Department on the management and maintenance of over 70,000 public lighting facilities in New Territories West, including conventional road lighting, village lighting, gantry sign lighting, roadside directional sign lighting, traffic bollards, and the associated network of cables, ducts, and peripheral items. Kum Shing has been carrying out public lighting projects since 1982 and working with the Government on various public lighting system management projects since 2002. Winning the contract is a huge recognition of the team’s effort and professionalism by the client.
