Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Combined Heat and Power Generating System Project

Kum Shing Process & Plant Team assisted the Drainage and Services Department (DSD) in constructing a combined heat and power generating unit, which includes facilities such as a desulphurization system and a biogas pre-treatment system. Once the new unit is operational, Biogas from the sludge treatment process will be applied in electricity and heat generation for the unit’s internal use, achieving the ultimate goal of “Waste to Energy”.
