Kum Shing has been supporting Environmental Protection Department under a design-build-operate contract for the Chemical Waste Treatment Centre (CWTC) since 2020. For Kum Shing, the CWTC project is a breakthrough in many areas. It is the first 15-year long DBO contract (Design, Build, Operate). Meanwhile, building the largest Clinical Waste Sterilization System in Asia enables non-stop handling for clinical waste during the maintenance period of existing incinerator.
