Hung Shui Kiu Station Project Awarded CICES “NEC Project of the Year”

Kum Shing is honored to participate in MTR’s Tuen Ma Line Hung Shui Kiu (HSK) Station Project and proud to have been awarded the “NEC Project of the Year” at the 2025 CICES Awards, presented by the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES). Representatives from the MTR Corporation and Kum Shing accepted the award together, reflecting our shared commitment to excellence and recognition from the industry.

The Tuen Ma Line HSK Station is the first MTR station to be built on an operating railway viaduct. Kum Shing is responsible for the preparation works for the station’s construction. Our project team worked closely with the client and prioritized safety by incorporating “Design for Safety” principles throughout the design and construction phases. Additionally, the team designed and manufactured a moving platform for working above ground, ensuring both a safe working environment and high efficiency.
