Award of Civil Modification Contract for CLP substations

Kum Shing has been awarded a new contract by CLP to undertake modification works at the Sha Tin 400kV Substation and the Eastern Road Substation. The scope includes constructing new transformer bays, enhancing cable tunnel structures, and upgrading infrastructure within the substations. These works are designed to increase the substation capacity and reinforce safety protocols, and support future cabling needs.

As the works will be carried out within the live substations, our civil & building team will work closely with all stakeholders to ensure detailed planning and stringent safety measures are in place to guarantee an uninterrupted power supply.
