Shipping Operation
Kum Shing boasts a professional fleet team equipped with a diverse range of vehicles to cater to the various logistics and lifting requirements of our infrastructure projects and clients. Our vehicle fleet includes sedan cars, vans, 5.3 – 5.5-ton lorries, 24 – 30-ton lorries, as well as 5.5 – 7.5-ton and 10.2 – 13-ton Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).
With extensive experience, Kum Shing has assisted our clients in executing large-scale lifting projects across various plants, confined spaces, and major construction sites. Some of the recent projects include: the annual boiler overhaul project at the Castle Peak Power Station, where our team replaced the boiler by lifting 28 pieces of 70-meter-long tube panels, composed of high-pressure tubes; at the Chemical Waste Treatment Centre, our team successfully completed the lifting and installation of 3 large waste heat boilers, collectively weighing over 150 tons; at the Black Point Power Station and Lamma Power Stations, we expertly lifted and installed vital components like gas turbines and generators, with a combined weight approaching 600 tons.
