Project Engineer – Airport 3RS Baggage Handling System (E&M) (Ref: EMD-SPE-2024-0087_R1)
We are looking for a dedicated project engineer to join the Electrical and Mechanical team for the 3RS baggage handling system at Terminal 2 for the Airport.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with the client for meetings, site works, factory acceptance test (FAT), interfacing issues and installation works
- Liaise with external parties such as consultants, design houses, suppliers, manufacturers to obtain product design approval from the client
- Conduct method statement, design submission, quality plan and calculations according to the specifications
- Supervise the mock-up, FAT, site installation works and commissioning
- Prepare document submission such as testing reports, site records and relevant certificates
- Supervise the sub-contractors for the installation / site works to meet relevant performance pledges, safety, quality and service targets
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical or related engineering disciplines
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge in AutoCAD and BIM would be advantageous
- Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, committed attitude and attention to details
- Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Candidates with less relevant working experience or academic background can be considered as Assistant Engineer / Works Supervisor
