Awarded Black Start Project with Cross-departmental Effort

Kum Shing is pleased to have been awarded the CLP Black Start Diesel Generator EPC Contract. A cross-departmental team composed of the Process & Plant Team, Civil & Building Team, and Electrical & Mechanical Team will assist our client in building 13 diesel generators and 1 diesel generator at the Black Point Power Station and Penny’s Bay Power Station, respectively, along with the building facilities.

The new generators will provide initial power for regular generation units in emergencies, ensuring power supply stability in Kowloon and the New Territories. Kum Shing is proud that our technical strength is being recognized by the client and have reached another important milestone, winning the first NEC4 (ECC) contract issued by CLP.
